GREASE THEFT ALERT: 7/28/2025

A man posing as a D&W employee entered this establishment, claiming to have lost his key. He asked the employee to unlock the used cooking oil so he could collect it. He arrived in a UHAUL rental van. He is NOT a D&W employee. This is a fraudulent scheme to steal your used cooking oil. Thieves like this steal oil so restaurants don’t get paid. They can damage your equipment and leave terrible messes. Worst, they are often involved in other crimes and can harm communities.
